An Assistant Service Manager plays a vital supportive role, working closely with the Service Manager to guide the daily functions of a service department. This position serves as a key point of contact for both customers and service staff, ensuring clear communication and coordinating the workflow of repairs and maintenance. The role balances administrative duties with direct customer interaction to facilitate a smooth and efficient service process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the daily workflow of repairs to ensure maximum utilization of technicians and equipment.
Serve as the main contact for resolving escalated customer complaints and service comebacks.
Review repair orders to ensure proper documentation of the complaint, cause, and correction for all service jobs.
Provide direct supervision and technical support to service advisors and other staff as directed by the manager.
Monitor the status of ongoing repairs and communicate any changes in cost or timeline to the appropriate staff or customer.
Assist in managing service department resources by preparing lists of needed equipment, supplies, and repairs.
Help set departmental sales goals and handle the preparation of estimates and the closing of repair orders.
Participate in the training and development of service team members on their duties and company procedures.

SKILLED IN CIRCUIT DRSIGN, TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR. EXPERIENCED IN
WORKING WITH PLCS , DRIVE , HMI , SCADA , MCCB , MPCB , MCB ,RELAYS, PNP & NPN SENSOR , CONTACTORS , LT-HT BREAKER, DOL AND STAR-DELTA STARTERS, AND , CONTROL WIRING OF PANELS, AC-DC MOTORE, SERVO MOTOR DRIVES ETC. •
READ TECHNICAL SCHEMATIC AND DRAWING TO DETERMINE THE PROPER INSTALLATION OF WIRING AND COMPONENTS. •
TESTED AND TROUBLESHOOT ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENT TO DETECT MALFUNCTION. •
MAINTENANCE OF TEXTILE PROCESSING MACHINE LIKE ROTARY PRINTING, SOFTFLOW DYEING, STENTER HEAT SETTING, DRYING RANGE, SOAPER WASHING RANGE, PACKING MACHINES ETC. •
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE OF UTILITY EQUIPMENTIN IN ETP PLANT, AIR COMPRESSOR. •
SPARE PARTS MANAGEMENT BY MAKING INDENTS AND STORE INVENTORY STUDIES. •
DAILY REPORT FOR ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF POWER UNIT,POWER GENERATION
