Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Chemist to join our Quality and R&D team. The role involves working in rotational shifts to support perfume manufacturing operations, quality control, and formulation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation, formulation, and testing of perfumes and fragrance products.
• Conduct routine laboratory analysis, quality checks, and maintain proper records.
• Support production processes to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards.
• Work collaboratively with the senior chemist and production team to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, lab procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and proper functioning of laboratory instruments.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: B.Sc. Chemistry or M.Sc. Chemistry (preferred specialization in Organic/Analytical Chemistry).
• Experience: 1–3 years.
• Basic understanding of fragrance/perfume manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
