What you'll be doing
Assist the Practice Manager with coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for practice staff
Managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations
Reception duties such as greeting clients upon arrival, answering phone calls and emails in a timely and efficient manner, and faxing/emailing documents, when required
Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
Assisting with general office administration tasks as required
General administration duties such as processing of payments
What we're looking for
Ideally suited for professionals with a career progression aspiration.
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry is an advantage
Previous experience with Medical Director & Pracsoft / Best Practice is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
A team player who will work positively with colleagues and commit to caring for our clients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 37 per week
