Job Title: Assistant Professor – MSME Projects and Industry Engagement
Location: Pune Institute of Business Management, Pune, Maharashtra
Position Type: Full-Time, Tenure-Track
CTC - (5 - 6 LPA)
Position Summary:
Pune Institute of Business Management is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Professor with a doctoral degree to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with the ability to lead MSME-focused projects, build and maintain industry relationships, guide and counsel students, and represent the institute in corporate settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• MSME Project Management: Design, implement, and oversee research and consulting projects related to MSMEs. Collaborate with industry partners to address key challenges and leverage opportunities within the sector.
• Industry Collaboration: Establish and nurture connections with companies and industry stakeholders. Identify and develop partnership opportunities to enhance the institute's MSME initiatives and industry engagement.
• Student Counseling and Mentoring: Provide academic and career counseling to students, especially those pursuing careers in MSME-related fields. Mentor students on research projects, internships, and career development.
• Travel and Corporate Representation: Represent the Pune Institute of Business Management at industry conferences, workshops, and corporate meetings. Travel as needed to foster partnerships, attend events, and engage with industry leaders.
• Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach courses in entrepreneurship, MSMEs, and related subjects. Develop and update curriculum materials to reflect current trends and best practices in the field.
• Research and Publication: Conduct and publish research on MSME topics and related areas. Present research findings at academic conferences and contribute to scholarly journals.
• Institutional Service: Participate in departmental and institutional committees. Engage in outreach activities that promote the institute and its MSME projects.
