• Teach and mentor students in areas such as fashion design, sustainability, craft, and retail.
• Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends.
• Foster creativity and innovation in the design process.
• Participate in departmental activities and collaborate with colleagues.
• Encourage industry-academic integration and research initiatives.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Industry Experience: Minimum 8 years in fashion, retail, sustainability, craft, or related domains.
• Design Sensibilities: Strong understanding of design processes with a focus on creativity and aesthetics.
• Teaching Skills: Proven experience in mentoring or teaching students.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Additional Value: Expertise in fashion technology, smart textiles, or international experiences is a plus.
• A combination of creative and technical design skills, effective communication, and a commitment to professional development and ethical practices.
Desired Area of Expertise from the Industry:
• Proficiency with Software and Tools.
