Job Title:Assistant Professor of Finance
Job Timings : 9:15 am to 5:15PM
Location: Ahmedabad Institute of Business Management (AIBM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
2nd and 4th Saturday off.
Position Type: Full-Time

AIBM invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Finance. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, engage in active research and publication, and contribute to the institute’s service and outreach activities.
Responsibilities
- Teaching: Design and deliver courses in finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Research: Conduct and publish scholarly research in high-impact journals. Seek external funding to support research activities. Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research.
- Mentorship: Advise and mentor students on academic, research, and career paths. Supervise theses, dissertations, and other student research projects.
- Service: Serve on departmental, college, and university committees. Engage in community and professional service activities that enhance the visibility and reputation of the department and AIBM.
- Industry Engagement: Build relationships with the finance industry to facilitate applied research, internships, guest lectures, and placement opportunities for students.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirement: Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
-Experience:Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred. Demonstrable record of research with publications in reputable journals.
- Skills: Proficiency in quantitative methods and financial analysis tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex financial concepts to students with diverse backgrounds.
- Personal Qualities:Strong commitment to academic and teaching excellence, ethical conduct, and collegiality.
