Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Bhiwandi

Reports To: Plant Head
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and ensure product quality and process standards within our interior design manufacturing unit. The role requires setting quality standards, inspecting materials and processes, managing a team, and driving continuous improvements in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures across the manufacturing process.
Ensure all interior products (modular furniture, panels, hardware fittings, finishes, etc.) meet design and durability standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects or quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead quality audits – internal, supplier, and third-party – and maintain documentation in accordance with ISO or other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure quality expectations are clearly understood and followed.
• Supervise the QC team and ensure timely inspection of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Maintain records of inspection reports, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Train shop floor teams on quality best practices and safety standards.
• Work closely with clients, vendors, and project managers to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Recommend improvements in workflow, equipment, and quality systems to increase efficiency and product reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Interior Design Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality control/assurance in interior manufacturing or modular furniture industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and team management skills.
• Working knowledge of measuring instruments, BOMs, and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Preferred:
• Experience working in a project-based interior fit-out company or modular furniture manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and digital quality monitoring tools.
