Job Description
As a Front-of-House Shift Incharge at AKU's outlet, you play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations during your shifts, taking customer orders, assisting the Restaurant Manager, and ensuring the smooth flow of restaurant activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take and accurately enter their orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide excellent customer service.
Order Accuracy: Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner, and that they meet our quality standards.
Shift Management: Take charge of the front-of-house operations during your shift, including assigning tasks to staff, managing breaks, and ensuring efficient service.
Assist Restaurant Manager: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
Cash Handling: Handle cash, process payments, and maintain an accurate cash register throughout your shift.
Customer Concerns: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Team Training: Assist in training new front-of-house staff and ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Opening/Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing duties, such as setting up and cleaning the dining area, as needed.
Safety and Hygiene: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role in the restaurant or fast-casual industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
