Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. This role is essential in fostering children's development and ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a love for learning.
Duties
Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to students' needs.
Supervise and engage with students during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Support individual students, including those with special education needs, by providing personalized attention and guidance.
Help manage classroom behavior by implementing positive behavior management strategies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, including preparing materials for lessons.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
Experience working with students in a classroom or caregiving setting is a plus
Familiarity with first aid procedures is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting an inclusive atmosphere.
A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and learning.
