Job Description :
ABODE School is looking for an Assistant Teacher who supports the main teacher in delivering engaging and effective classroom instruction for students in Grades 1 to 5. The role involves helping with lesson preparation, student supervision, academic reinforcement, classroom management, and promoting a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Class Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and academic activities
Support individual and small groups of students with reading, writing, math, and other subjects
Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom
Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and learning aids as instructed by the teacher
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher
Help manage student records, homework correction, and documentation
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
Substitute for the main teacher in case of short absences whenever required
