Duties
• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall development.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and orderly environment conducive to learning.
• Foster a love for learning by encouraging students' curiosity and creativity through hands-on activities.
• Provide individualized attention to students, helping them with tasks and promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom activities and transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the Montessori philosophy and promotes exploration.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Experience
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong skills in classroom management to create a supportive learning environment.
• Knowledge of literacy education practices to enhance reading readiness among preschoolers.
• Experience with lesson planning that aligns with early childhood education standards.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus, particularly in fostering independence among toddlers.
• Background in toddler care or early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Ability to engage students in math concepts through interactive learning experiences.
• A passion for working with preschool-aged children and supporting their developmental milestones.
