Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Human Resources!
In this role, as the HR of India region of Genpact, you will partner with business leadership to attract, engage and retain global talent to support business priorities and growth. HR function plays a critical role in Genpact given the people centric business and organizational culture. The Americas region is second largest region in Genpact and has been growing at a very fast pace. The incumbent will have a strong platform to make a big impact.
We are looking for a self-starter who is energetic, agile, and passionate about people and can work closely with leadership and help us to make better decisions about all aspects of people management to enable a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and implement HR plan and strategy (as per the larger goals and priorities) for the industry vertical at to achieve growth and profitability at global scale.
• Participate in client interactions and RFP discussions to facilitate fresh business growth
• Review talent capability and implement interventions to create talent pool so as to enable distinctive sales and delivery capability
• Advise Vertical Leader on people matters, health of operations and change management so as to ensure leadership communication, reality check and operating rigor.
• Ensuring the rigor around people agenda across businesses and locations
• Provide guidance and support to the team of HR Managers in proactive solutions to the business challenges.
• Understanding of business planning, OP, finance, business model, cost and price structure, how does the business make money
• Understanding of client business, relationship skills and knowledge of outsourcing value chain
• Experience in working with senior leaders, generating trust and collaboration
• Understanding of risk assessment, mitigation, employee communication and project management
• Industry & business perspective
• Organization design, global perspective, roles and responsibilities, how to make matrix work
• Experience of working in boundary less environment using influence and distributed leadership
• Managing network of relationships based on functional depth, business understanding, trust and credibility
• Large scale geographically dispersed execution, appreciation of cultural diversity, understanding of human resource management concepts
• Experience of working closely with operating leaders, coaching and culture building
• Experience of leading a team of HR professionals
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven ability to lead HR for a large set-up in the Americas, especially the US and including the ability to manage all levels of employees including a large non-exempt workforce
• Ability to lead large teams effectively
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to understand the employee relations and labour & employment framework in the US
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters in HR or an equivalent professional certification
• Strong operational rigor and the ability to manage multiple people & financial metrics
• Excellent business orientation & focus
• Experience of working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• High tolerance to ambiguity; fast paced/ high energy
• Ability to interact confidently with Senior Leadership
• Experience of working in a professional services company
