Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Guy Carpenter – Treaty Reinsurance team at Marsh India Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Assistant Vice President – Guy Carpenter – Treaty Reinsurance (Non Life)
We will count on you to:
Responsible for managing client relationship and new business generation.
Helping insurance companies devise their reinsurance purchase strategy by providing end to end solutions.
Consistent interaction with Reinsurers and Guy Carpenter international offices for placement support across lines of business
Gather & share market intelligence with clients and leadership teams at regular frequencies.
Develops and maintains effective network within the business community and industry.
Visit insurance companies regularly to ensure continuous engagement with different stakeholder.
Providing desired results with the help of extensive research and data analysis.
Understanding the dynamics of the Indian Insurance/Reinsurance environment and Global market scenario.
Ability to grasp readily the Guy Carpenter Value Proposition.
Ability to work in conjunction with Global team on various tools, supporting local relationships for arriving at required results.
Responsible for providing leadership, support and guidance to the team.
What you need to have:
7+ years of experience with prior experience in reinsurance.
Knowledge of Reinsurance and Catastrophe Modelling.
Strong knowledge of Property/ Engineering / Speciality lines of business.
Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.
