Compensation - 300k to 420k
Associate Accountant
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 2-4 years experience in Finance/Accounting
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Accounts or Finance i.e. commerce discipline
• Strong Excel skills and solid proficiency in other MS applications
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills
• Must work collaboratively and possess a strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Attention to detail and quality; highly organized
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in accounting processes for the department including tax filings, cash entry and reconciliation, expense reporting, lease management, and more.
• Assist in general accounting functions including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and sub-ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in maintaining and updating documentation of accounting department policies and procedures.
• Participate in the annual financial audit process including interactions with internal and external auditors.
• Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations - ecommerce and other channels
• Identify and prepare manual journal entries through the analysis of close results, trends and actual to budget/forecast
