Associate Accountant, Financial Stewardship and Public Reporting
Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 3/4
The role will provide support in the delivery of the Total State Sector Accounts and key reporting aggregates included in NSW Budget, Half Year Review and Monthly Reporting.
You will be working within the Financial Stewardship and Public Reporting division within FMS.
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience.
Willingness to complete a professional accounting accreditation such as CPA or CA (with study assistance provided).
Basic knowledge of financial accounting concepts with strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage competing priorities and short turnaround times.
Ability to adapt, be fluid and positive in a team environment.
