Associate – Architect (Technical Compliance & Regulatory Advisory)
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Architect to support technical compliance and regulatory documentation processes relating to real estate projects governed under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA Act, 2016) and allied regulatory framework.
The role involves reviewing project drawings, approved plans, and technical documentation from regulatory perspective, assisting in aligning project information with statutory disclosure requirements, and supporting preparation of structured documentation forming part of regulatory submissions.
The position requires a professional approach with strong understanding of building plans, approval documents, development permissions, and ability to interpret technical information within regulatory compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
• Reviewing architectural drawings, layout plans, sanctioned plans, and technical project documents from compliance perspective
• Assisting in interpretation of approved plans, commencement certificates (CC), occupation certificates (OC), and related technical approvals
• Preparation and review of technical details forming part of regulatory submissions under the RERA Act, 2016
• Ensuring consistency of technical project information across regulatory documentation
• Reviewing project configuration details including building structure, unit configuration, FSI utilisation, and development parameters from documentation perspective
• Supporting structured presentation of technical project details for regulatory purposes
Regulatory & Analytical Support
• Assisting in interpretation of technical information required under regulatory framework applicable to real estate projects
• Supporting alignment of project drawings and technical information with regulatory disclosure requirements
• Analysing technical project documents to identify inconsistencies or gaps from compliance perspective
• Working closely with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure accuracy of project information forming part of regulatory submissions
• Preparation of technical summaries based on approved plans and project approvals
Coordination in Compliance Processes
• Assisting in identification of technical documents required for regulatory submissions
• Coordinating with clients for updated plans, approvals, and technical information required for compliance processes
• Supporting teams in maintaining structured record of technical project documents
• Ensuring completeness of technical inputs required for regulatory documentation processes
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
• COA Registration preferred
• Interest in regulatory compliance and documentation-oriented technical role
Preferred Skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and sanctioned plans
• Understanding of development permissions, FSI concepts, and approval documentation
• Attention to detail in review of technical project information and related draft documents
• Ability to work with structured documentation requirements
• Understanding of linkage between technical approvals and regulatory compliance
• Process-oriented and detail-focused work approach
