We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation practice. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of impactful legal matters, work alongside industry leaders, and help shape the future direction of our firm.
Role Overview
As an Associate Attorney on our Labor/Employment Litigation team, you will take on a leadership role in managing and advising clients on high-stakes business disputes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leadership & Practice Development: Leading the firm's commercial litigation efforts, building relationships with key clients, and driving new business development opportunities.
• Client Representation: Managing complex litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, antitrust, intellectual property, and more.
• Strategic Counsel: Providing strategic legal advice to clients on risk management and dispute resolution, leveraging a deep understanding of commercial law.
• Team Management: Mentoring and managing junior attorneys, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth within the team.
• Business Development: Cultivating existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities to expand the firm's commercial litigation portfolio.
• Litigation Excellence: Taking ownership of all aspects of litigation from pre-trial strategy to negotiation and trial advocacy.
Qualifications
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including significant exposure to large-scale, high-profile matters.
• Track Record: Proven success in leading commercial litigation cases, including trial experience and a demonstrated ability to handle intricate legal issues.
• Business Development Skills: Strong networking and client relationship management abilities, with a track record of originating business and contributing to firm growth.
• Leadership: A collaborative and strategic mindset, with experience in managing teams, mentoring associates, and playing a key role in firm leadership.
• Bar Membership: Admission to the Texas Bar (or ability to transfer bar membership).
