This is an exciting role and would entail you to As an Instructional Designer with our Talent and Learning team, you can design informal and formal learning solutions in a blended learning environment that reflects “big picture” people development programs. From leadership to career development planning (and everything in between), your expertise will help to analyze, select, and deliver the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and design to maximize outcomes as we roll out solutions.
Work with the Talent Acquisition team on the following:
o Update applicant status in iCims (applicant tracking system)
o Ensure new hire paperwork has been completed in iCims portal
o Complete SharePoint entries for all new hires
o Initiate background check process
o When applicable, initiate reference checks for new hires
o Send weekly report to each business unit listing all active freelancers and confirm end date
· Partner with the Human Resources Business Partner team on the following:
o Send communication to hiring managers on new hires who will be joining each week
o Facilitate communication with new hires on the onboarding process and answer questions
o Create and distribute Microsoft Planner Boards for all new hires
o Collect & file resignation letters
o Send emails with exit information
· Assist the Benefits team with the following tasks:
o Send and track weekly Affordable Care Act (ACA) e-mail
o Assist with audits as needed
o Conduct termination calculations (e.g., vacation payout)
o Complete an agency transfer form when necessary
· Work with the HR Operations team on completing the following:
o Pull, analyze, and provide reports from HRIS system
o Perform manager changes within HRIS system
o Audit and upload new hire forms
o Provide directions and assistance in accessing key HR tools and resources
o Enter hires and terms into SharePoint
o Troubleshoot payroll issues
o People Doc filing
Qualifications and Experience:
· Ability to multi-task in complex working environment with accuracy and proficiency.
· High degree of confidently and attention to detail.
· Strong verbal, written and customer service communication skills.
· Interest in learning company policy, employment law, and audit practices.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of various HR tools and systems - i.e SuccessFactors and iCIMS is preferred, but not required.
· At least 1 year of experience (or relevant internship experience) in an administrative role in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment
