Role : Qualified Lawyer with 2 years of Experience
Key Responsibility:
• Assist in drafting pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, and applications for civil, commercial, and arbitration matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, opinions, and legal notes.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and arbitral panels for hearings and procedural matters.
• Coordinate with clients, counsels, and court staff for matter updates and hearing preparation.
• Support senior associates and partners in strategizing case approaches and legal arguments.
• Draft and review contracts, settlement agreements, and notices related to ongoing disputes.
• Maintain internal case management systems, and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural timelines.
• Participate in client meetings, briefing sessions, and conferences with external counsels.
What we need
• LL.B. from a reputed university; enrollment with the Bar Council.
• 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in litigation and arbitration with a law firm or individual practice.
• Sound knowledge of civil procedure, arbitration law (including the Arbitration & Conciliation Act), contract law, and other commercial laws.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as SCC, Manupatra, and others.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and team player with a professional attitude.
