Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Purpose:
Provide operational leadership in implementing and maintain business sustainability initiatives, system and programs throughout the company to ensure the environmental and social risks are assessed & mitigated and business sustainability performance and stakeholder engagements are enhanced for the long term sustenance of the company.
Implement and maintain the environmental compliance infrastructures and processes required under environment license (e.g. environment clearance and consent to operate etc.) and various regulations of (MoEF, DPCC, MoCA & DGCA and Wildlife & Forest Department) at ALD (Delhi) business functions to its conformance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Environment Clearance Compliance Management (MoEF):
• Implement and maintain the environmental compliance infrastructures and processes that are required under environment clearance issued to ALD by Ministry to its conformance and
• Drive the regular submission of environmental performance and environmental financials and business parameters reports to MoEF in timely manner.
• Drive the measures required to obtain environmental licenses and permissions needed for new business or infrastructure developments projects.
Review and monitor the environmental approval of the Asset developers
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Representing ALD, demonstration of compliance, participation in technical and tactical discussion, regular communication and negotiations of needs and expectations with regulators and stakeholders
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Engaging in representing function, communication of functional needs and compliance demand, participation in technical discussion.
FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
Operating expense in > 50 lakh.
OTHER DIMENSIONS
Knowledge:
• Ability to conduct/implement field studies & environment monitoring independently.
• Ability to perform data analyses and interpretation of data, reporting and compliance identification.
• Knowledge of water management. waste water treatment, recycling & Rainwater Harvesting Structure (RWHS)
• Knowledge on Natural Resource Management and development of management plan (Energy, Water, Fuel, waste etc.).
• Knowledge on site contamination management and pollution prevention.
• Knowledge of material selection and Knowledge on Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
• Knowledge on simulation software for Air quality modeling (ICS3), Noise level modeling (INM).
• Sound knowledge on Microsoft office – excel for data analysis (data analysis skill) & power point presentation (presentation skill & communication skill).
• Sound knowledge on contract and purchase, project planning and project management (Project management skills).
• Good negotiation and communication skills to negotiate with government agencies about environmental permitting and other compliance issues.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Educational
• B Tech/ M Tech (Engineering) – Civil, PHE & Environmental Engineering
Certification on Systems – LEED certification (optional

10 years or more with specific experience of 5 years in the Environment/Climate Change/Sustainability
