About the Role

ANZ Private caters to ANZ’s highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and financial situation.

In this Sydney-based role, you will be managing a portfolio of private clients with deposit, lending (Retail) and personal banking needs. You will be the primary relationship contact, supported by specialists, enabling timely and relevant solutions for all your clients’ needs.

What will your day look like?

As the Associate Private Banker, you will be accountable for:
Demonstrating strong financial management by optimising margins, growing and retaining FUM, and identifying opportunities for specialist referral.
Enhancing customer experience through disciplined client contact, promoting self-service adoption, and meeting NPS and satisfaction targets.
Ensuring all banking and lending solutions are suitable, compliant, and effectively managed, while consistently using required systems.
Embracing and embedding change, actively participating in feedback to support personal and team development.
Collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for both clients and the team.
Maintaining full compliance with mandatory learning, CAD requirements, and delivering a well-managed portfolio aligned with NFR and Credit Risk standards.

Strong and influencing relationship management skills
Deposits/Transactional Banking knowledge
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Stakeholder management capability to navigate the Bank
Lending and advice knowledge to execute or spot and refer
CRM proficiency with high utilisation to manage the client base
