The Mrs. T. H. Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy invites applicants for a full-time research faculty position (non-tenure track) at the rank of Associate or Full Professor of Research. The Chan Division has a vibrant and active research program in several areas, covering a wide range of topics including: Health Promotion and Prevention (e.g., chronic conditions such as diabetes, healthy aging; Rehabilitation, Health Service and Brain-Body (e.g., musculoskeletal sonography and occupational performance, neural plasticity and neurorehabilitation); and Sensory Integration, Engagement, and Family Life for People with Autism and Related Neurodevelopment (e.g., the study of sensory processing, adapting environments for people with sensory sensitivities). The successful applicant will serve as the methodologist/statistician for funded projects and will plan, conduct, and report/interpret analyses. The position will include working collaboratively with faculty on data analysis, research planning, project development (included grant writing as principal investigator or co-investigator), and dissemination of findings. As part of the tripartite mission, the candidate will be expected to teach/mentor graduate students in areas of their expertise and be involved in service activities, in addition to the production of scholarship. Qualifications include a PhD or the equivalent in biostatistics, quantitative psychology, statistics, epidemiology or similar. All applicants should have firm understanding of advanced statistical analyses and interdisciplinary collaborations in the context of behavioral and social science research. Preferred qualifications include expertise in leading grants and projects that apply machine learning, human-centered technology assessment, quantitative research design, clinical trials outcomes analyses, and/or integration of behavioral, virtual, and neurophysiological data to understand human occupational performance, health, engagement and wellbeing.
The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000-150,000 (depending on rank and experience).
