Job Description
Job Objective-
Manage & lead team for handling of Inward & Outward Rakes & containers placement as per yard planning.
Ensure and Create hassle free & Safe/Healthy working environment at terminal for Rail/Rake operation & yard Operation
with the help of Operation ground team/staff, RST Operator, Inter- carting trucks drivers, Surveyors & safety security staff in company.
Responsibilities
Planning of Rake Placement before rake arrival
Liasoning with CTO i.e., senior staff for line placement of rakes.
Documentations- Shunting & stabling of Bills of Railways & their payment related documents.
Railway circulars & operation related all documents. Power detention or other penalty related
documentation.
Outward Plan for Rake- Demand outward plan from respective owner of rake i.e. and circulate
with ground staff and guide them to perform as actual.
Reporting- Generating Rake master detail with full activity of rakes. Daily rake terminal line
position detail & In-route rakes position with their running KM & BPC detail.
Control on Vendor/MHE Handlers- Ensure healthy movement of all handling equipment, like
inter-carting trucks (10), Reach stacker (4) & hydra etc. SLA generation for deduction of non-
productive time of all equipment’s.
RR Generation & Forwarding- Ensure with operation staff forwarding note filling in correct
processor or correct data of rakes along with containers all detail like total weight & Haulage
amount etc.
Yard Management- Define entire yard location as per container status / type / import / export /
hazardous / damage / domestic load / domestic empty and ensure all containers placed on their
defined area.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate
Experience: 3 to 5 Years of Total Experience in Rail Operations
