Job Description
Responsibilities:
A) Accounting :
Review of day to day accounting entries i.e. Cash, Bank & Journal entries, Ledger account & GL account i.e. Accrual, Unbilled Receivable & prepaid entry etc. scrutiny & review.
Review of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable – GL account and reconciliation with Customer & Vendor balances
Review and approval of Sales Invoices to Customer and preparation of AR Aging report
Reconciliation of various general ledgers accounts with multiple sub ledgers.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate closure of books of accounts.
Responsible for Statutory Audit and Internal Audit & Co-ordination with Statutory Auditor and Internal Auditor for providing required details & documents for Audit completion
Preparation of financial statements and notes to accounts and supporting schedules to notes and providing information to statutory auditors and resolve issues.
Month End and Year End Closing through HFM/FCC and Submission of monthly report through FCC & MIS report to Corporate within due date.
Preparation of MIS, Other expense Analysis report etc.
Coordination with Bank for BG processing etc.
Settlement of Travel Bills as per Policy, Accounting entry and Employee Account Reconciliation
Verification of monthly statutory payments including TDS
Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
B) Inventory accounting and management :
Review of Inventory accounting
Inventory count and reconciliation between Sub Ledger & GL balance
Preparation of Inventory Aging report and Inventory Reserve report
C) Fixed Assets:
1. Posting of Depreciation entry for all the divisions during Month closure
2. Fixed Asset management through system
3. Depreciation entry for all Divisions as per IGAAP books of accounts and UGAAP
4. Preparation of FAR schedules for audits including Tax audit
5. Physical verification of all Fixed Assets through System and accounting Sales or write off based on physical verification report.
D) Indirect Taxation:
Submission of monthly GST Return
Knowledge of ITC eligibility and GST applicability on output Services
Knowledge of obtaining new GST registration
E) Income Tax:
TDS - Knowledge in TDS deduction rule from various payment to Vendor & review of monthly TDS payment, e-TDS filing, Assistance in TDS assessment.
Assistance in Income Tax Return Filing, Finalization of Tax Audit & 3CEB.
Assistance in compiling & reviewing required details to attend Notices from income tax office
F) Coordination with Sales team, Operation Team and Singapore Finance
Team
G) Coordination with Statutory Auditor, Tax Consultant and Bank
H) Coordination with GST official, CHA and Vendors
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Commerce Graduate and M.com or C.A. Inter or MBA - Finance is a plus.
10+ years of Accounting and Exposure in MNC - Manufacturing Company with 5-6 years’ experience & currently working as Sr. Executive Accounts or Asst. Manager and managing team of 2-3 in current profile
Knowledge of basic accounting standards, accounting rules and finalization of Balance Sheet as per IGAAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to work in a team environment and with other internal departments.
Great organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and self-motivated.
Good working knowledge of Navision
Good working knowledge of MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Knowledge of basic accounting standards & accounting rules
Maturity & ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
Good co-ordination with Foreign entities & associates through email or con-call.
