About The Role
Athlete Experience Specialists (AES) are the first and last impression of Brodie League's game night experience. Your role is to create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for athletes, fans, and staff while representing the Brodie brand with professionalism and pride.
The goal for an AES is to make every athlete and fan feel welcome and build a strong sense of community throughout the night. Your presence, energy, and professionalism directly shape how players and fans experience Brodie, making you essential to delivering an unforgettable gameday.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Greet athletes, fans, and guests - set a high-energy, welcoming tone from arrival
• Check in players efficiently and keep front-of-house running smoothly
• Answer questions, direct traffic, and resolve minor issues on the spot
• Support setup and breakdown of each game night
• Help maintain energy and flow across the gym throughout the event
• Ensure every location delivers a consistent, high-quality experience
• Represent Brodie Sports Group with professionalism and energy
• Engage with athletes and fans to create a strong sense of community
• Act as a brand ambassador throughout the night
What We Need From You
• Outgoing, high-energy personality with a natural ability to make people feel welcome
• Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable presence
• Availability for evenings and weekends based on the game schedule
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-energy event environment
• Genuine passion for sports, community, and delivering exceptional experiences
• Must operate as a self-employed individual and be responsible for own tax remittances and HST obligations
Nice to Have
• Experience working events, game nights, or in fast-paced, high-energy settings
• Passion for basketball, sports, or community-based environments
• Comfortable engaging with people and creating a welcoming, positive atmosphere
• Experience being part of a team environment (sports teams, leagues, or group settings)
