Audit Director - Assurance & Advisory
About The Opportunity
Our client, a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm based on the West Coast, is currently seeking an Audit Manager in their Denver, Colorado office. In this hybrid-remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of an audit, review or accounting engagement and ensuring client deliverables comply with both the applicable accounting framework and firm policy.
Responsibilities
• Business development and client development
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in assigned discipline or industry
• Act as Engagement Partner or report to Engagement Partner; assist with ensuring client deliverables are timely and correct
• Assume leadership role on client leads, including initial communication, fee estimates and attending meetings
• Supervise staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, reviews and mentoring
Required Education And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 10 years of experience in public accounting with 3+ years of experience in a management or senior management role
• Demonstrated ability to bring in new business
• Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Standards
• Current and valid CPA license
