Job Description: Augmented Reality Development Intern (WebAR - Unity)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Augmented Reality Development Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work on the development of an exciting Augmented Reality (AR) application for WebAR using the Unity software platform. Your primary responsibility will be to create and optimize AR experiences, leveraging your skills in Unity development and WebAR technologies. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the field of AR development and the opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design goals for the WebAR application.
• Develop and implement AR features and functionalities using Unity and related technologies.
• Create interactive AR experiences by integrating 3D models, animations, audio, and visual effects.
• Optimize AR content for performance and compatibility across various web browsers and devices.
• Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs in the AR application.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in AR development and WebAR technologies.
• Document the development process, including code documentation, technical specifications, and project milestones.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of AR elements into the overall user experience.
• Provide support and assistance to the team during the deployment and maintenance phases of the AR application.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Unity and C# programming language.
• Familiarity with Augmented Reality concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in developing applications for the web using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience or exposure to WebAR frameworks and libraries (e.g., AR.js, A-Frame) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics and animation principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A portfolio or examples of past AR or Unity development projects would be preferred.
