Job Summary: Auto Body Technician
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work on a variety of vehicles, performing body repairs, frame straightening, panel replacement, dent removal, sanding, priming, and prepping for paint. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle damage and prepare repair estimates.
Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicle bodies and frames.
Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels, bumpers, and other components.
Fill dents, sand surfaces, and prepare vehicles for painting.
Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and insurance guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Use appropriate tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
Communicate effectively with estimators, painters, and other team members.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of auto body repair methods and safety practices.
Ability to use hand and power tools, frame machines, and welding equipment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Certification in Auto Body Repair (an asset but not required).
