Job Description
As a Simulation Engineer - Composites, you will play a critical role in the development of our simulation software and its applications in composites manufacturing. Your expertise in robotics simulation, robotic kinematics, path planning, and offline programming will enable us to create cutting-edge solutions for our customers.
You will also collaborate with internal teams to provide technical insights and create documentation and training materials for simulation best practices.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a related field and experience in robotics simulation within industrial/manufacturing contexts.
You will have excellent problem-solving skills, English communication abilities, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
You will be proactively working on various projects and collaborating with internal teams to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop digital models of robots and end-effectors compatible with our ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical insights
- Design and analyze manufacturing simulations for automated processes including AFP, SCF3D, Automated Trimming, and Filament Winding
- Provide technical support to customers with simulation and programming challenges
