Our Client is seeking an Automated Application Tester for an inflight agile, cloud software development project as well as several other projects. The Automated Application Tester is responsible for ensuring the functionality of new features on a new platform by conducting quality assurance testing. This role validates business requirements and upholds quality standards.
While this role is remote, must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing dedicated application testing services, within the past seven (7) years (September 2018 to date), specifically on web-based software development projects.
A minimum of one (1) year’s experience writing and executing automated UI and API tests for web-based software development projects.
Agile web-based software development testing experience
Experience deriving test cases from user stories, non-functional requirements and design documents.
Experience executing tests across multiple test phases (i.e. system, integration, regression, and UAT).
Experience executing cross-platform tests (e.g. across major browsers, iOS/Android), responsive design tests and accessibility tests (e.g., WCAG 2.0 compliance).
Experience developing, executing and maintaining automated tests using modern frameworks such as Cypress.io (or equivalent).
Experience testing large-scale, web-based educational platforms
