Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to service completion. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will help foster long-term relationships with our clients while driving sales and upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed.
Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments and maintaining transaction records.
Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring all customer interactions are conducted in a professional environment.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Skills

Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell services effectively.
Excellent cash handling abilities, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience as a mechanic is advantageous for understanding customer needs better.
Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
