Job Summary
Provide technical instruction based on specified service training curriculum for technicians
Participate in and plan a continuous 1-month rolling service training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) (Cornerstone) and closing rosters after every class
Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curriculum, specific courses and technical education methods (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Cornerstone and more)
Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plans for dealership staff
Manage the training center day-to-day operations and maintaining assets, such as (but not limited to) vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures
Qualifications
College diploma and/or equivalent work experience
Provincial Technician’s License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant
5+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM
Highly competent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and well organized – a continuous student of automotive technology
Adept computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
Team player with the ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams
Must have a valid passport to travel between Canada and the United States
A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective team leader and collaborator
Must have the ability to work off standard hours, as required
