We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing AWS services, automating deployments, implementing DevOps best practices, and reducing infrastructure costs. A strong background in serverless architecture using Lambda, API Gateway, and monitoring with CloudWatch is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps:
• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Configure and monitor infrastructure with AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and Security Hub.
• Write and manage Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Automate deployment for backend services on lambda functions and versioning setup
Serverless Architecture (Core Area):
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions integrated with API Gateway.
• Use AWS SQS, EventBridge, and SNS for decoupled architecture and event-driven flows.
• Handle logging, monitoring, and performance optimization using CloudWatch.
• Use MongoDB (Atlas) as the primary database for serverless applications.
Security & Compliance:
• Enforce IAM best practices, including temporary credentials and least-privilege access.
• Enable monitoring tools like AWS CloudTrail and AWS Config for audit trails.
• Implement encryption for data at rest and in transit across AWS services.
Cost Optimization & Reliability:
• Identify and eliminate unused AWS resources.
• Optimize Lambda function costs by tuning memory and timeout settings.
• Implement structured backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
• Leverage AWS Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, and resource tagging for better cost tracking.
Scalability & Performance:
• Configure auto-scaling policies for EC2, ECS, and Lambda workloads.
• Use caching tools like CloudFront to reduce latency and improve response time.
• Continuously refine application architecture for performance improvements.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and SQS.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Experience with MongoDB (Atlas preferred), RDS
- Hands-on with Docker and containerization (bonus if used with ECS/Fargate).
- Solid scripting knowledge in Python, Node.js, or Bash
- Familiarity with VPC networking, security groups, and WAF, WAR
