Qualifications
• Amazon EKS (hands-on cluster and workload management experience)
• Strong AWS expertise across infrastructure, services, IaC, and deployment practices
• GitHub experience, including GitHub Actions, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across engineering and non-engineering team.
• Experience deploying cloud resources with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar IaC frameworks.
• Experience supporting consumer-facing, high-traffic web workloads.
• Hands-on experience with pipelines, containerization, and microservices architectures.
• Strong problem-solving approach with the ability to make impact-driven decisions.
Nice to Have
• Ability to create system diagrams, architecture visualizations, and technical communication artifacts.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic) and operational excellence best practices.
• Familiarity with Akamai or similar CDN/WAF platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms or transactional applications.
