Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Native Architect to join our team to design and implement Azure-native solutions for complex enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible as an expert in Azure services and capabilities and will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud architecture strategy.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the cloud architecture strategy, roadmap and technical direction for Azure-native solutions
Architect scalable, reliable and high-performance cloud-native applications using Azure services
Develop and implement cloud architecture patterns, design principles, standards and best practices for application development, deployment and operations on Azure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture designs ensuring alignment with security, compliance and governance policies
Evaluate and recommend cloud-native technologies, tools and frameworks to optimize performance, cost-efficiency and scalability on Azure
Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews and performance assessments to ensure adherence to architecture guidelines and reliability of solutions
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform or similar tools
Lead and mentor development teams on Azure cloud-native architecture best practices, design patterns and coding standards
Collaborate with operations teams to implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions for Azure-based applications
Stay updated with the latest Azure services features and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive business value
Requirements
Background in IT with 11-18 years of experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years on architecting complex enterprise applications
Proven experience as a solution architect with a focus on Azure cloud-native solutions
Expertise in Azure services and capabilities, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure App Service, AKS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage and Azure Key Vault
Skills in cloud-native architecture patterns such as microservices, serverless computing and containerization
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
Qualifications in Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or related certifications are a plus
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
Understanding of security best practices, identity management and data encryption in Azure
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
