About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure & SQL Database Administrator to join our team on a freelance basis. This is a night shift position where you will manage our cloud infrastructure and databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability during your working hours between 7:30 PM and 12:30 AM IST with Flexible hours.
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST with flexible hours
Payment: ₹1000 - ₹1200 INR per hour (based on experience & expertise)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure .
- Configure and administer SQL Server databases.
- Implement Azure virtual networks , VMs, storage, and databases.
- Perform regular SQL database backups, restores , and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and resource usage.
- Troubleshoot both Azure and SQL database issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement and manage security protocols for Azure and SQL environments.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless project execution and operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure administration.
- Expertise in SQL Server database administration , including performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
- Proficiency in managing Azure virtual machines , networks, storage, and databases.
- Experience with SQL database backups, recovery , and high availability solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools , SQL troubleshooting , and database optimization techniques .
- Knowledge of Azure security best practices and SQL database security .
