Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to various learning styles.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
Observe and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Attend events throughout the year such as shows and competitions.
Requirements
A recognised ballet teaching qualification (e.g. SDTA associate, RAD or similar) is essential.
Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children or young adults.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities and styles.
Experience in using technology as an educational tool is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
