Because this is a bank position, we ask for a minimum of 1 year’s experience in home care. You’ll often be stepping in at short notice and may not have the chance for a full introduction to the client or property. This means you must be confident in providing support independently, though telephone guidance from the office is always available.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will vary but may include:
Friendly companionship and conversation
Light household tasks, meal preparation, and reminders
Support with personal care – always respectful and unhurried
Helping someone get out and about – fresh air, errands, or appointments
Assignments are based across Keynsham, Downend, and the surrounding areas, so flexibility to travel within this area is essential.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Minimum 1 year’s experience providing care or support in someone’s home
✅ Comfortable supporting clients on your own after initial briefing
✅ Willing to provide all aspects of support, including personal care
✅ Friendly, observant, and respectful in your approach
✅ Able to travel between locations - must be a car driver
✅ Open to flexible working – days, times, and clients may vary
