Key Responsibilities

No previous teaching experience is necessary, but it is desirable. As is experience delivering GCSE and functional skills courses and working with young adults on resit programs.
Good subject knowledge and understanding of GCSE and Functional skills course content. Knowledge of some of the common misconceptions of young people.
Good interpersonal skills. The ability to form good professional and working relationships with students quickly. Patience, positivity and resilience with a desire to do the best for learners at all times.
All Qualifications with a high level of English and Math content considered. Teaching qualifications desirable but would consider those working towards these.
