Position Details • Position Name: Business Correspondent Supervisor • Number of Vacancies: Multiple • Location: Various locations across India • Job Type: Contractual Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: • Retired employees of public sector banks (including BOB) with experience in rural banking OR • Candidates with a minimum qualification of Graduation (in any discipline). Preference will be given to candidates with an IT/Computer background. Age Limit: • For retired bank employees: Up to 65 years. • For other candidates: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years. Experience: • Preference for candidates with experience in banking, financial services, or microfinance. Skills: • Proficiency in local language(s). • Knowledge of computers and mobile banking systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Roles and Responsibilities • Oversee the activities of Business Correspondents (BCs) in their assigned area. • Conduct field visits to ensure smooth operations and resolve customer grievances. • Coordinate with bank branches for effective delivery of financial services. • Ensure compliance with guidelines related to financial inclusion and BC operations. • Submit periodic reports to the bank regarding BC performance and outreach activities. Contract Tenure • The initial contract period will be 12 months, extendable based on performance and bank requirements. Remuneration • Fixed pay: ₹15,000/- per month. • Variable pay: ₹10,000/- based on performance and target achievement.
