Bar Manager / Lead Bartender – Morrissey Pub
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $40,000-$45,000 + Tip Out: $25,000-$40,000

The Morrissey Pub is looking for a Bar Manager / Lead Bartender to join our team and help elevate our beverage program while delivering memorable guest experiences.
About the Role:
As our Bar Manager, you'll contribute to our beverage program and be the operational lead behind the bar. You’ll be responsible for assisting with the beverage menu, managing inventory and product controls, training and mentoring staff, and ensuring smooth nightly operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous bar management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and floor management skills
Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
Passion for hospitality and customer service
Experience with inventory, budgeting, and scheduling
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization
Ability to foster a fun, professional, and guest-focused team culture
What You’ll Do:
Take part in creating/maintaining a cocktail list
Lead bartending shifts and set the tone for excellence
Oversee all aspects of bar operations, from ordering to stock control
Train and mentor bartenders and FOH staff
Collaborate with ownership and kitchen team on promotions and events
Ensure all guests leave with a smile and a reason to return
Compensation Package:
Base salary: $40,000-$45,000
Tip structure: $28,000 - $40,000 annually
