Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The Depot is Al Brown’s much-loved eatery and oyster bar, an ‘elbows on the table’ kind of place where the aroma of charcoal grilled goodness fills the air and laughter flows as freely as the wine. Open from 7am until late, seven days a week, Depot serves up authentic Kiwi casual dining inspired by Al’s culinary adventures and showcasing the very best from New Zealand’s growers, farmers, and producers. If you love great food and vibrant hospitality, this is where you want to be!
You will be responsible for quality and accurate production of customer orders while ensuring size and dietary requirements are adhered to, all while positively interacting with customers and ensuring an excellent start to their day!
Mōu | About You
You'll likely be someone who is known for making a good brew as well as a love for the morning rush! You will also bring:
At least 1 years’ experience as a barista in a similar fast paced environment
Good attention to detail
Customer service focused
You will enjoy getting to know your regulars well and be sure to start their day after the morning commute with excellent coffee and conversations to match!
