Job Description
We're looking for an experienced barista to work as part of our small team, full-time Monday - Friday (no weekends or nights).
Jericho offers a modern take on middle eastern street food while serving speciality coffee to the local area.
Specifically this role will involve:
Being the in-house coffee expert and understanding coffee extraction
Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner
Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner, including but not limited to customer service via POS, running coffee and food out, cleaning tables etc
Experience working as a barista in a busy environment
Getting to know our customers and their regular coffee orders
Work efficiently while maintaining a clean, tidy and well prepared service area
Must be comfortable working on the coffee machine solo
You must have a strong coffee knowledge and experience to back it up. You'll be working as part of a fun and supportive team.
