Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Barista to join our team. As an employee with us, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling food products.
- Engage with customers, taking their orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to fulfill orders promptly.
Experience
- Barista experience with understanding of basic latte art required
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate, smile and have positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members.
Must be fluent in English!
Must have Canadian work permit!
Must have Barista experience!!
