Fast paced, fresh and friendly, Al Brown's Depot is where the food is terrific, the service extraordinary and the atmosphere exciting. Think of a classic Kiwi bach reinvented as a restaurant, a place where people feel best when they eat, drink and entertain.
Depot is about shellfish shucked fresh to order, food cooked over charcoal and wood making for more succulent, flavourful seasonal dishes, beautifully cooked and to be enjoyed with friends. As Kiwis, that's what we do and at Depot we celebrate that.
To compliment the excellent food, outstanding service and unpretentious atmosphere, we are looking for a full time senior bartender to keep this successful, fast paced eatery at the top of its game.

You will be energetic and personable bartender with a passion for crafting memorable guest experiences. Skilled in mixing classic and creative cocktails, managing busy bar environments, and delivering top-tier customer service with a smile. Known for quick hands, a sharp memory, and a knack for making every patron feel welcome. Whether behind the bar or engaging with guests, always focused on creating a vibrant, enjoyable atmosphere.
Mōu | About You
To ease into this position you will:
have 1 -2 years of bartending experience
be full of energy
enjoy working in a fast paced environment
have experience with stock taking
be curious and enjoy shaping the beverage menu
have strong communication skills
love creating lasting expression for our customers
Flexibility to work various hours
