Basic Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operator to join our screening and bagging facility, located by Ryley, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring the efficient screening and packaging of our black earth humics products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor screening and bagging machinery to ensure efficient processing of black earth humics.

· Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.

· Set machine parameters according to the product specifications and adjust based on production requirements.

· Monitor product quality throughout the screening and bagging process to ensure compliance with company standards.

· Maintain accurate production records, including quantities processed, bagged, and quality control checks.

· Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during production.

· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

· Keep the facility clean and organized, including the proper handling and storage of materials.

· Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to machinery operation and safety practices.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, especially in a screening or bagging role.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to operate machinery and understand technical manuals.

· Must be detail-oriented and committed to safety and quality standards.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

· Ability to work evenings and weekends as required, overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

· Ability to work in varying climate conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments.
