As a Bespoke Menswear Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom menswear tailored to individual clients' needs and preferences.
About the Role
• You will work closely with clients to understand their style requirements and provide professional advice on fabrics, styles, and garment construction.
• Your role will involve designing bespoke garments, developing patterns and technical specifications, and staying current with trends to incorporate modern yet timeless design elements.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their style preferences and specific needs.
• Fashion Design Development: Create sketches and detailed designs based on client input, develop patterns and technical specifications, and stay current with trends.
• Fabric & Material Selection: Source and recommend high-quality fabrics, trims, and accessories suitable for bespoke menswear.
• Production Oversight: Work closely with tailors, cutters, and seamstresses to ensure accurate interpretation of designs, oversee garment fittings, and conduct quality control.
• Client Relationship Management: Deliver a luxury experience through impeccable service, professionalism, and attention to detail, manage project timelines, and keep clients updated throughout the production process.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Fashion Design, Tailoring, or related field.
• Proven experience in bespoke menswear design or tailoring.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and pattern making.
• Excellent hand-drawing and digital sketching skills (Adobe Illustrator, CAD, etc.).
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering a perfect fit and finish.
