Job Description
The post holder will, as a member of the Maudsley Learning Senior Leadership team, support our bid writing, grant winning, and subsequent project management activities. It offers an opportunity to lead our team in winning and managing exciting new projects to improve people’s mental health.
As part of a dedicated commercial education and workforce development team the post holder will develop excellent relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to leverage the expertise in our organisation and partnerships to win new grants. Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to rapidly digest information, create, and present compelling narratives are essential.
The post holder will work closely with the Business Development Team to lead bid and grant writing activities, working across other Maudsley Learning and SLaM teams. Our G&T programme seeks to deliver on Maudsley Learning’s strategy, pursuing opportunities to increase our impact and grow in priority areas of interest.
The Primary Objectives Of The Role Are To
• Provide strategic oversight and development of the Grants and Tenders (G&T) revenue stream to meet financial growth targets year on year.
• Manage effective workflow processes of G&T to increase efficiency and capacity working across all Maudsley Learning teams.
• Engage and manage key senior stakeholders, partners, and commissioners as part of a consistent bid management process.
• Lead a routine scoping process to identify eligible high value multiyear bid and grant opportunities, nationally and internationally.
• Develop outstanding bids and proposals that leverage SLaM and Maudsley Learning’s expertise
• Support project initiation and implementation for successful bids.
