Role: Data Engineer (SQL/Power BI)
100% Remote
Heavy Data QA work they no longer use QA job titles internally which is why this is called a data engineer they have converted all QA engineers to software/data engineers Everything in QA space is started as manual but they want it automated eventually initially manual heavy
Position Description:
• Writing SQL queries
• Validating all data models
• Testing pipelines built in data factory make this part of pipeline itself
• Data Warehouse heavy
Required Skills:
• SQL Proficiency: Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Power BI Expertise: Validating reports, DAX functions, and data modeling.
• ETL Process Validation: Testing data pipelines and transformations using Azure Data Factory.
• Automation Skills: Scripting in Python for test automation and data validation.
• Microsoft Fabric Experience: Understanding of data workflows and orchestration within Microsoft Fabric.
• Azure Data Factory a must
