Biological and Life Sciences
The School of Arts and Sciences at Ahmedabad University is inviting applications for faculty positions in the Biological and Life Sciences. Faculty specialising in nanotechnology, neuroscience, cancer biology, materials science and drug delivery, pathogen biology and immunology, protein biochemistry and biophysics, computational biology, ecology and evolutionary biology are especially encouraged to apply. The School has five divisions: Biological and Life Sciences, Humanities and Languages, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Performing and Visual Arts, and Social Sciences, all of which work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary way. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing school in India in a dynamic new private university with a public ethos.
Responsibilities: To engage in high-quality research, establish new research areas in collaboration with professors of the University and outside, publish research work in international peer-reviewed journals of repute, teach courses within the School and across the University, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, develop external funding for research support, and participate in institution building.
Required and preferred qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD and post-doctoral in a relevant discipline from a globally recognised University.
